The Cleopatra Plus slot is a ‘Level Up’ game with some big changes made in the free spins round. There are 8 levels to unlock and any scatter you see will add 1 deity to the counter. At 50 you open up the second level, 120 the third with each subsequent level needing progressively more scatters to unlock. Each level increases the enhancements you can choose from should you get 3 scatters and trigger the 5 spins at 1x multiplier. Each scatter to begin with has 1 or 2 deities so when you trigger the free spins you will have at least 3 of them to place on various sites on a map.
On earning the free spins you see a map showing famous Egyptian landmarks such as the Temple of Karnak, Library and Gold Mines on which you place your deities. You can put all of them on 1 site or spread them about. These sites reveal extra spins or multipliers initially, but as you unlock the levels, spins, multipliers and Wilds will increase in number plus in the last levels you may land on a final super spin with the reels half-full of Wilds or high-paying symbols.
Desert Rewards
As you progress, the deities shown on the scatters increase up to 3. The result is that when triggering you could get 6 or more icons to place on the map, so with increased multipliers and Wild additions along with the super spins some pretty rewarding combinations are possible. Conclusions
Cleopatra Plus is great for graphics, animations and sound effects with a quite volatile base game producing up to 1500x bet for a screen of Wilds. The concept in the bonus is fantastic but alas is what lets the game down. You will notice that your free spins produce pathetic totals 95% of the time with an inordinate amount of dead spins in them. This is frustrating for a slot that promises so much with huge final spin multipliers possible of up to 300x if the deities were placed to reveal that enhancement. I simply have no faith in the bonus so for that reason I will only be playing it hoping for big hits in the base game.
